2006 Excellence in Flexography Awards Seeks Entries

PRESS RELEASE RONKONKOMA, NY—The Flexographic Technical Assn. (FTA) has now is accepting entries for the 2006 Excellence in Flexography Awards. The awards competition encourages the pursuit of high-quality printing and technical achievement. Entries must have been created between January 1 and December 31, 2005. Judging is based on the degree of difficulty pertaining to substrate printability, registration tolerances, printing complexity, defect detectability, tonal range, and fineness of print and/or screen. Additionally, elements such as image sharpness, ink coverage, registration, consistency, and dot/screen/vignette quality will be assessed.
