Dryer Technologies Web dryers actually are fairly simple process machines despite an apparent myriad of design options. So what causes most of the headaches that we in the web process industries suffer? Four problems: the wrong heating system, lousy instrumentation, not enough zones, and pushing the dryer beyond its design limits.
