Ceramic Coated Lamp Has Advantages Over Gold

HAWTHORNE, NJ | Anderson Thermal Devices offers RadReflect, an infrared quartz lamp with a new ceramic reflective coating said to have 95% of the reflective efficiency of gold. It is less expensive, handles higher temperatures, and has a longer life than gold-coated quartz lamps. The reflective coating makes the heaters unidirectional, radiating most of the energy toward the substrate without external reflectors. RadReflect lamps can be operated at a higher application temperature while keeping the back of the high quality quartz tube cool, extending the lamp life. See http://www.andersonthermal.com ...
