ATLANTA, GA | Caraustar Industries is cited by DuPont with a Noteworthy Accomplishment Award in the DuPont Packaging Awards for Caraustar’s redesign of Callaway’s Dozen Pak golf ball packaging. The entry was recognized as an “excellent example of source reduction; with a 50% reduction in material costs.” The design team, led by Caraustar’s Steve Mahler, conceptualized and redesigned the Callaway Dozen Pak from a two-piece construction to a one-piece design, allowing for cost reduction of up to 50% in the package and corrugated cases.
