BEDFORD, U.K.—Valmet Converting reports a unique approach to customer-focused communications for service and support. The co. says the new Valmet 24-7 HelpLine was launched at K 2001 in Düsseldorf, Germany. "The customer HelpLine became operational November 1, 2001, on a 24-hr/day, 7-day/wk basis," says the co., "and answers telephone inquiries for all product groups within Valmet Converting." Valmet explains the service HelpLine resolves the problem of un-staffed offices and unavailability of personnel. It also says calls will be answered promptly, and if outside of normal working hours--which are from 08:00-18:00 CET--will be processed the next day. Valmet's 24-7 ...
