PRESS RELEASE NEW BEDFORD, MA—MultiLayer Coating Technologies' (MCT) approach to rapid scale-up is redefining the time it takes to go from research to full production. From laboratory scale tests and modeling, we create an initial process template for the expected bestcase conditions, along with designed experiments to scope operating windows for critical parameters. Trial execution is scripted by computer controlled process recipes and real time data acquisition insures data capture for subsequent analysis and continuous improvements. Next, the pilot trial is performed on the production coater with narrow width substrate to minimize development costs and speed scale-up.
