Anilox Cleaner Cuts Makeready Time

CHARLOTTE, NC | Cenveo Inc. is using HarperScientific's multipurpose cleaner, AltraWash Blue, in its automatic anilox roll cleaning machine at its Cadmus Special Packaging facility. The product is formulated for cleaning UV and solvent-based inks and reportedly is safe for use on aluminum. Chris Thomas, flexo pressroom supervisor, says, “To maintain our print quality, we have been using AltraWash Blue…to clean our anilox rollers and sleeves for the past six months with complete satisfaction.” Thomas finds he uses less chemical than was necessary with the cleaner used previously.
