Excelsior Buys Three F&K Presses

BIELEFELD, GERMANY | Fischer & Krecke GmbH reports Excelsior Packaging Group has entered into contracts for three additional FP 36S-10 printing presses. The presses will include the latest F&K advancements, including smartGPS (Graphic Positioning System), which is said to allow instant job startup with the least impression- and registration-related setup required in the industry. With smartGPS technology, the print setting is finalized offline at the plate-mounting stage. Once the sleeves are put in the press, the machine can accelerate immediately to production speed and print with the correct impression and register, resulting in reduced waste.
